Man United vs Liverpool
This weekend’s marquee Premier League is set to play out on Sunday afternoon.
Manchester United are set to host Liverpool, in a huge game for the latter.
United begin the weekend’s action sitting 2nd, with a 12-point advantage over 5th – meaning their spot in next season’s Champions League is already all but secured.
Liverpool, on the other hand, have it all to play for, and cannot afford to drop any points across their final five league outings this term.
At present, the Reds sit 6th in the English top-flight, four points adrift of 4th-placed Chelsea. Jurgen Klopp’s side failed to win either of their previous two Premier League games, with the form of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino becoming a real concern.
Man United vs Liverpool delayed
The game going ahead at its original time, though, will not happen.
This comes amid Man United fans, as part of a protest against their owners, somehow making their way onto the Old Trafford pitch. And, with both sides yet to depart their team hotels:
Manchester United and Liverpool now have “no planned time for departure” from their hotels.
Read into that whatever you like.
